What do you do when a car has a mind of it’s own? Go along for the ride! That’s what race car driver Jim Douglas (Dean Jones) does in this Walt Disney classic, Herbie the Love Bug. Douglas is down on his luck when he crosses paths with the lovable car, which his roommate (Buddy Hackett) insists is alive. Douglas isn’t sure, even when No. 53 wins race after race in unpredictable ways. It takes a rival’s sneaky plt for Jim to realize the true worth of Herbie, the Love Bug.
